Drill Writing Service---WORK FOR HIRE SERVICE
Sample Drills

I will take 7-10 drill writing projects per year. I usually write marching band drills from June 20th through
August 1st. It takes three to four days to create your drill. I usually recommend the following:
Young Band Level 20-35 drill sets***(actual moves) for young-developing bands
High School Level 35-50 drill sets*** for average high school competitive band
Championship Level 50-75 drill sets*** for state championship bands
World Class Level 75-100 drill sets*** for world class bands(unlimited sets)
*** Actual drill moves(not holds)-may include subsets--I do not count drill sets--these are ballpark figures
It is important to have the following items before we start:
All guard changes thought out
All special percussion notes
Build all props & measure (play with them to see what are going to do with them)
it would be great to have a time to play with the props prior to writing the drill
Please try to think out as many of your visual ideals as possible before we start
Please do a show outline so you get what you want.
Create your own format--be a specific as you want!
The more details before I start the better!!!!!!
Exact numbers with some cushion for kids moving etc.
Please forward drill numbers as soon as possible. Must be sent in writing/email
Please try to make sure of your numbers before sending them.
The more complex your drill is, the more the difficult it is to alter.
Wait till your 99% sure of your numbers
I could write your drill just as you are starting camp if you are unsure of next year’s numbers.
Rewrites can be done as we progress through the summer and fall! Rewrites because of drill mistakes by me are free(rarely happens). Rewrites because of changes in numbers can be made, but hurts step sizes and many other facets of good drill(I can use the rewrite function to take spots out). Solids form rewrites are up to you(filled-in blocks, etc)! This process is also free. Additional fees for additional hard copies may be necessary. If want creative control (drill set approval) of the writing process, additional fees may be needed.
